QUEENSLAND AMUSEMENT PARK
The park is located by the Chennai-Bangalore Trunk Road between Sriperumpudhur and Poonamalle. There is parking for cars. Buses are available from Guindy and T. Nagar. All buses going to Sriperumpudhur from Chennai stop at Queensland.
The entry fee is 350 INR for an adult and 250 INR for a child. Children shorter than 2 feet (0.61 m) tall are not charged.
The park is open from 10 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 6:30 pm on weekends and government holidays. It is closed on Mondays for maintenance, with the exception of holidays.
Food and drink are available within the park.
Rides
There is no charge for the rides. There are 51 rides, 33 for adults and 18 for children. However, a child can go on some adult rides when accompanied by an adult.
There are some water rides, which operate only from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Protective clothing can be purchased for the water rides. There are also separate swimming pools for men and women.

Chennai's 1st & Exclusive Water Park opened since 1995. It has water rides, landing pools, artificial rainfall, water rides for kids, play area, party hall. The water park is fully shaded with coconut groove and lot of greenery leaving refreshed from daily life. - Knowing Swimming is not required - Rides for All Ages is available.
The place is filled with lush green covers of coconut, mango groove, the idea is for people to have a refreshed and gain fresh energy by the end of the day. Once inside pool you will never feel summer even at 40 degree C. The water in the pools is treated thoroughly. They have free fall, spiral wave fall ,float slide and other water slides. They also have slides for children with seperatekids pool. Locker and changing room facilities are available.
Canteen available for short bites and refreshing drinks. If informed prior canteen can prepare food of your choice for bulk order.
The best part is that knowing how to swim is not required since the pools are only 2-3 ft depth, so there is no chance of drowning. Kids pool is also just 1ft deep. Women can comfortable clothing to enter the pool. People here are of age groups from 2-80 yrs.

V.G.P UNIVERSAL KINGDOM
VGP Universal Kingdom' is an amusement park located in East Coast Road in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The park offering small rides during the early days of its history became a full-fledged amusement park in 1997. The park provides several fun and adventure rides for children, youth and adults. VGP 2000 millennium tower, Water cascades, Paneer fort and statueman are some of the main attractions. The park is owned by VGP Group of Companies founded by V. G.
